off one of the most popular low-cost CAD packages in the 1980 and early
90's.
I later assisted in the Beta Testing of Visual CADD the (Son of Generic
CADD )
Jim Faliveno, Carl Ransdell, and Matt Brown, software developers well
known to many Generic CADD users, assisted by loyal beta testers, have

General CADD Pro Available from the UK
Not everyone wants to purchase over the Internet using credit cards, thus Astec-Computing have
negotiated with General CADD Products Inc. to re-sell in the UK. They have imported USB and Parallel
Security Devices required to legally run General CADD Pro.
General CADD Pro features an easy-to-learn two-letter command structure favored by many drafting
professionals. A variety of Windows dialog boxes are also available for simplified access to such
features as dimension settings and text formatting. All commands are available from the Main Windows
menu, user customizable toolbars and as from two-letter keyboard shortcuts. Over 60 new commands
and features have been added since Version 2.1 including ACAD 2004 file support and specific
surveyor bearing/distance commands!
General CADD Pro can import the following file formats:
